Well we're 0-4 so far in the tournament but we're not going to let that get us down. Early this morning (7-21-2013) one of the umpires came over to our field to have his picture taken with us. Although he works for the ASA umpire association in Ohio, he frequently visits West Virginia and loves it there. He explained why he liked WV so much but we could not really understand due to our minds being blown by someone uttering the phrase "I just love West Virginia." It's not often you hear someone say that without a pint of moonshine in their hand. However strange it may be for this particular umpire to have affection for our home state it's nice to have a fan. In other news, Randy Steele has been working for nearly an hour trying to open his bottle of Heineken. Not to self: bottle opener to cooler next year.
